Specialized Thai Teochew style claypot braised shark's fin, Thai Village emphasize on providing the quality authentic taste locally and overseas thus making us a popular brand name. Started in Singapore in 1991, we ventured into China in 1999 and by 2000 we were admitted to the Official List of the Stock Exchange of Singapore Dealing and Automated Quotation System which made us the first restaurant in Singapore to be public listed.
The success of the move led to more outlets being set up in China and by 2001 our franchise programme was started. Since 1996 we have been bagging culinary awards such as Top 10 Restaurants Award, Top Restaurant Award and The Best Asian Restaurant Award and many others. We presently have 4 outlets in Singapore (Jurong¡¢Oasis¡¢Goodwood Park and Changi Village), 2 in Indonesia(Jakarta and the other in Surabaya). In China, we have outlets in Shanghai (four outlets), Beijing and Kunming. Franchise outlets set up in other provinces of China include Quanzhou, Xi'an, Wuhan, Changzhou, Yangzou, Zhangjiagang, Fuzou, Xiamen.
In Thai Village we are well known for our Thai Teochew delicacies, our unique flavor and exotic variety of dishes make our cuisine a mouth-watering delight. Our house special is the Claypot Braised Superior Shark's fin. Other than using top grade shark's fin and generous servings it is our loyal customer coming back for more. Our Braised Whole Abalone with Chinese mushroom is a temptation on its own. The succulent texture of the abalone leaves you with an unforgettable aftertaste. Last but not least, let's not forget our very special Braised Abalone Rice, which is a very popular delicacy in South East Asia.
Apart from this, we also offer a unique blend of Thai Teochew style seafood such as Stir-fried Fish Maw with Prawns, Baked Crab with Vermicelli, Stir-fried Asparagus with Scallop which offer an exotic and harmonize dining experience.
