Tai Dongyuemiao (the Dai Temple) International Martial Arts Ring Con test Time: Mid-April Place: Tai'an City Sponsored by: China Martial Arts Association, Tai'an Municipal People's Government Contents: Yan Qing, a character in the novel Outlaws of the Marsh by Shi Nai'an once joined in an open contest at Dongyuemiao and imprinted his name on the hearts of people for generations. The contest is held at Dongyuemiao on Mt. Tai in April every year. It is a large event and joining in an open contest is one of the most important parts of the activity. Masters in the martial arts circle from home and abroad will be invited to participate and show their skills. Thus display of talent will enhance and help the development of Chinese martial arts.
