West Peak is the most beautiful and precipitous peak of Huashan Mountain. In front of the Jade Cloud Palace is a megalith in the shape of lotus flower.

Therefore West Peak is also known as Lotus Flower Peak. Huashan West Peak was "Valuable Lotus Lamp" where Chen Xiang split open the hilltop to rescue his mother, San Goddess.

Presently, there is a split megalith near the Jade Cloud Palace as if divided by axe and was named ??the Axe Cut Rock??. There is also a big and long axe handle on the side.

The northwest side of the peak is like knife truncates, spatial ten thousands of feet. It was named by the people as ??Sacrifice Themselves Cliff??.
