Muni Valley (Muni Gou) located in Jiuzhaigou consists of two smaller, parallel gullies, Zhaga and Erdaohai. Most popular during the winter months, Muni Gou attracts a large number of tourists during this time (mainly due to the Huanglong mountain pass being closed). It is admired for the hot springs in Pearl Boiling Lake (Zhuzhu Hu) which creates a massive swimming pool simmering at a temperature of 21C. The waters in the springs have medicinal properties attracting both young and old to the area.
Muni Valley also contains a number of other eye-catching lakes as well as the breath-taking location of the Zhaga Waterfall (Zhaga Pu Bu).
