Qinhuai River-Temple of Confucius Qinhuai River, called 'the beauty of the Six Dynasties (222-259)' in ancient times, is the main river in Nanjing. During the Ming Dynasty lamped boats on Qinhuai river were peerless. The sounding of their drums would last for the whole night.Now the Qintuai River has undergone renovations for many times, on it there are many antique buildings with caved beams and paintied rafters.
