Hainan Ethnic Museum Hainan Ethnic Museum To the east of Tongshi , the museum covers an area of 5,000 square meters. It has eight exhibition halls displaying historical relics, pictures, daily utensils, and arts and crafts of Hainan's Li and Miao people. The oldest relics date back to the New Stone Age. The rough stone tools, animal hides, old spades with turned blades, handy bows and arrows, beautiful skirts, scarves and fine jewelry present a vivid picture of the history and present-day life of the Li and Miao.
