The Taimo mushroom (Taimo) is a regional specialty that can only be found on the peaks of Wutaishan Mountain. The mushroom is found on the mountain in two types, the fragrant and silver varieties, the former named after its distinctive smell and the latter, surprise, surprise, for the large silver skin that shines across its surface. Both types are edible and considered highly nourishing.
