Most of the hotels in Linfen are to be found along the city's main road, Jiefang lu. There are over ten hotels here, although most are of doubtful standards, making it always worthwhile checking out rooms before you agree on anything. The best to be found on this road is the Pingyang Hotel (Pingyang binguan, Tel: 0357-214844) at 6 Jiefang nanlu. This hotel has a large, fairly good Chinese restaurant and variously priced rooms. Check a few before you decide your price range.

There is one more hotel that is worth looking into, the Greenland Hotel (Luyuan dajiudian, Tel: 0357-2088168) at 18 Pingyang beijie, near the center of the city. This three star hotel is possibly the best in town, although not great in terms of transport access. The hotel has about 90 rooms, a gym and a Chinese restaurant.
