Day 2 Shanghai
Full day city tour includes the Bund (the Waterfront), Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and Carpet Factory. Enjoy Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight.

Day 3 Shanghai to Beijing
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China, our friendly guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing
Full day escorted city tour includes Tiananmen Square, the Ancient Forbidden City, the beautiful Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven where the Emperors worshipped.

Day 5 Beijing
Full day escorted excursion to the Badaling Great Wall and the Changling Exhibition of the Ming Tombs.

Day 6 Beijing
Free day at leisure for shopping or optional tours

Day 7 Beijing to Lhasa
Take a morning flight to the Holy City of Lhasa with a stopover in Chengdu, upon arrival at Lhasa Gong Gar Airport, You will be greeted by your Tibetan tour guide and drive two hours to Lhasa City. Check into Lhasa Hotel (Former Holiday Inn, 4 star, the best available).
Remainder of the day is at leisure to rest and adjust the high altitude.

Day 8 Lhasa
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration to this Holy City. Visit the Potala Palace, where the Dalai Lama used to preside. In the afternoon, visit the Jorkang Temple, which is located at the very center of the Lhasa city. Later you can stroll along the Barkore Street where Tibetan shops present Tibetan medicines and hand-made crafts.

Day 9 Lhasa
Today sightseeing includes the Tsepung Monastery, one of the biggest in Tibet. Then you can visit a nearby Tibetan Carpet Factory. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Temple, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama.

Day 10 Lhasa to Chengdu
Take a morning flight to Chengdu which is famous for its spicy food, upon arrival, your tour guide will take you to visit the Wangjiang Tower in Wangjianglou Park. Check into your hotel.

Day 11 Chengdu
Morning tour to visit the Panda Breeding and Research Center on the suburb of Chengdu. Drive to Sanxindui and visit the Sanxindui Museum - one of the most exciting new museums in China. It is built on the 3,000-year-old site of the Shu civilization and houses interesting relics unique to the Chengdu area.

Day 12 Chengdu to Guangzhou
Free day at leisure before transferring to airport for Guangzhou. Upon arrival in Guangzhou, transfer to your hotel.

Day 13 Guangzhou
Sightsee historical attractions on a city tour of this Pearl River city, including Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Chen Clan Temple.

Day 14 Guangzhou to Hong Kong
Transfer to train station and take an express train to Hong Kong, upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 15 Hong Kong
Today, your half day city tour of Hong Kong Island passes through Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen's sampan community. Then up to Victoria Peak for spectacular views of the city and its harbor.

Day 16 Hong Kong
Free day at leisure to explore or shop on Nathan Road.

Day 17 Depart Hong Kong
Departure transfer to airport for your flight back hoem or your next destination.
