DAY 4 Monday Beijing
Today, a highlight of your trip to China as you walk on the ancient ramparts of the astonishing Great Wall. Then visit a cloisonn factory and see skilled artisans at work. DAY 5 Tuesday Beijing/Xi'an

DAY 6 Wednesday Xi'an

DAY 7 Thursday Xi'an/Chongqing

DAY 8 Friday Yangtze Cruise: Fengdu*
At Fengdu, a shore excursion shows Mingshan Hill's unique temples, with statues of ghosts and devils. MEALS: American Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner *Alternate shore excursion may visit Shibaozhai or Wanzhou.
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge hemmed by towering cliffs and sail on through Wu Gorge, known for its lofty Twelve Peaks. At Wushan, cruise up the Daning River via cruiser to view the famous Small Gorges. Continue by sampan to the picturesque mini-gorges of the Ma Du River with its clear, swift running water, unusual rock formations, and monkeys and goats along the banks. Alternatively, your excursion may be on Shennong Stream with its dramatic gorges. Pass through the last and most scenic of the major gorges, Xiling Gorge and then through the Three Gorges ship lock. DAY 10 Sunday Yangtze Cruise: Xiling Gorge/San Dou Ping/Yichang to Shanghai*
At San Dou Ping, see the amazing Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydro-electric project. Continue on to Yichang where you board your flight to Shanghai, China's center of commerce. DAY 11 Monday Shanghai
