　　 Daming Lake (literally translated to be the Lake of Great Light), or Daming Hu, is one of the biggest lakes in the city of Jinan. One of the more noted curiosities is that although many waters about Daming Lake have water snakes, there is a prominant lack of snakes in this lake.
