　　 The road conditions are not good in Jinan. On rainy days, the ground often becomes muddy, something that requires action by government. However, Jinan's public transportation system is improving rapidly. Public buses and trolleybuses connect every corner of the city.
Taxi
You can find taxies in the airport, railway station, outside the hotels and restaurants. The taxi fare is metered, CNY 6 for the first three kilometers (1.9 miles) and approximately CNY 1.5 to CNY 2.5 per every succeeding kilometer (0.6 mile). The vehicles are easily recognized by their rooftop TAXI signs.
Public Bus & Trolleybus
The bus fare is CNY1. The bus numbers starting with a K charge CNY 2, such as K51, etc. if you have an IC card, and then you can enjoy a 10% discount.
